<h1>WHY WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT IS NECESSARY FOR INDIA&nbsp;</h1>&nbsp;For a very long time, women have experienced discrimination and inequity. Exclusion follows discrimination. It is based on gender, race, color, and sex. Gender is a crucial topic for discussion today. Women were abused not just in India but throughout the world, in addition to being discriminated against. They became nothing more than a commodity. They were denied access to life's fundamental pleasures and activities.Throughout history, there have been several changes to the status of Indian women. Women were treated with respect at some points in history but were also subjected to oppression. Women who are educated are more self-aware than males.&nbsp;</li><li>Kshatriya women got instruction in martial arts and arm training. Women were never subject to prejudice. After marriage, the guidelines did, however, alter.</li><li>&nbsp;A widowed mother had some rights, but a wife had no claim to her husband's possessions.</li></ul> Ancient Vedic Wives<ul><li>After being married, the lady became a wife and was seen as her husband's better half. They were treated as the house's Lakshmi. No religious practice was practiced without her husband's presence.&nbsp;</li><li>They used to participate in all religious activities as a group. This was true back when the residence was still referred to as the Laxmi of the House. Even more, the route of sati emerged throughout the medieval period. It is just a social construct that has been propagated for well over a century.</li><li>More people there give themselves over to enslavement to survive and have fulfilled lives. Women who are aware of their rights begin to pursue education once they realize how vital it is for them, adding greater pride to their families and society in the process.&nbsp;</li><li>They establish their behavior and ideals since they do not live through men.
