Let's delve deeper into the subject to learn everything there is to know about India's educational system.The Gurukul was India's original educational system. In this residential educational system, which dates back to circa 5000 BC, both the learner and the teacher lived in or close to the guru's ashram. This made it possible for an emotional connection to be made before knowledge was shared. The ancient Sanskrit language served as the primary language of exchange.&nbsp;The foundation of learning was a child's comprehensive, well-rounded development rather than just memorizing facts and reading books. This covered their physical, mental, cognitive, and spiritual health. Religion, sacred texts, medicine, philosophy, warfare, statecraft, astrology, and other topics were covered in the classroom.The focus was on helping students grow in terms of their human values, including independence, moral and ethical behavior, empathy, and creativity. Teachers are frequently referred to as “second parents.” As a result, they should be taught to behave as parents to children who are not in their homes. They should establish a welcoming and homelike environment in the classroom so children may experience empathy and affection, which will subsequently be mirrored in their behavior.
