The Problem
Many children in our society leave their homes due to various reasons, such as domestic violence, abuse, poverty, neglect, or in search of work in cities and a better future. Unfortunately, many of these children end up alone and vulnerable, with no support system to turn to. In fact, every five minutes, a child arrives alone at a railway station, where they are at high risk of violence, exploitation, trafficking, and abuse.
The Solution
Our solution is to provide early intervention at railway stations to keep children safe and prevent them from slipping into street life. We take them to our care homes, work with them to find the best long-term solution, and aim to help 6000 children reunite with their families. If families are not found, we provide long-term care and vocational training for future livelihood.
With a goal of raising Rs. 6,00,000/-, we plan to use the funds for nutrition, shelter, counseling, and rehabilitation for these children.
